Jack Llewellyn is a postdoctoral researcher specialising in the biophysics of stem cells. In his PhD thesis at the Wellcome Centre for Cell Matrix research, he demonstrated how cell age can affect cells' resilience to the stress of stem cell transplant procedures. In his current role at the Institut de Biologie du Développement de Marseille, he is working to decipher how the mechanical environment stem cells find themselves in can influence their specialisation.
